Senior Director of Information Technology
We are working with a leading electronics distributor to find an experienced, hands-on Senior Director of Information Technology to own and modernize the IT infrastructure, platforms, and security posture that support their national operations across LMR, security, and enterprise technology distribution.
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Director of Information Technology to own and modernize the IT infrastructure, platforms, and security posture that support their national operations across LMR, security, and enterprise technology distribution.
This role exists to solve a critical business need: as the company scales across 75+ branches, the IT function must deliver a stable, secure, and well-integrated technology platform – spanning Office 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, network and perimeter security, and core infrastructure – while controlling cost and managing a growing vendor ecosystem. Today, this leader will bring order, security discipline, and operational rigor to how the company manages, secures, and invests in its IT estate.
This is a builder and operator role. The Senior Director will lead a team of approximately 10-12 IT professionals, own the enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity program end-to-end, manage the IT budget and vendor relationships, and drive the integration of platforms and systems across the business. Beyond these core priorities, this leader will bring strong project management discipline, take ownership of outcomes, and move quickly to get things done.
The role partners directly with executive leadership, Finance, HR, and business unit leaders across the branch network.

6) Project & Program Management
- Apply strong project management discipline to plan, execute, and deliver IT initiatives on time and on budget.
