Purpose of Role

The Country Manager reports to the Regional Director and is responsible for the direction and management of all sales, business development, and market strategy within their region. The Country Manager will drive the company’s achievement of the territory revenue and contribution goals.

  • To generate high sales growth by building, maintaining and managing a number of effective channels to market.  The role also requires a strong new business development, managing the relationships between end users, channel partners and consultants.
  • To manage and build a local sales and technical team within the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

Planning

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of our client company.
  • Identify ‘best fit’ vertical sales markets.
  • Provide weekly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan.
  • Own the regional sales pipeline, forecasts and targets.
  • Prepare and agree annual sales plan, monthly sales targets and objectives in line with the Company’s business plan.
  • With appropriate senior management, establish compensation plans for his/her sales team; including commission plans and sales targets.
  • Grow existing partners to full potential, maximise their revenue and identify/develop new partners.
  • Drive the development of sales strategy for the territory.
  • With the ExCo team and the Regional Director, contribute to pricing policies, including discounts and terms and conditions.
  • Maintain awareness of the competition in the region.
  • Identify future candidates for recruitment.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key consultants in the territory.
  • Work closely with the Product Management to identify and define new products and influence the roadmap with market requirements.

Execution

  • Provide feedback on market trends, barriers to sales, competitive knowledge.
  • Connect their sales team to the culture and ethos of the Company.
  • Define and manage the monthly and annual sales objectives for all of their team.
  • Represent the company effectively at exhibitions, seminars, road shows and trade shows.
  • Sales presentations to key decision makers effectively selling the capabilities of our client’s solution.
  • Manage partner satisfaction.
  • On an ongoing basis, recruit, train, supervise and evaluate team.
