Job Information

Our client’s Regional Sales Manager’s (RSM) are responsible for the management of all sales channels; integrator, end-user, and A & E, as well as development of strategic partners with shared and vested interests, and the drive and delivery of effective sales growth within the defined region.

Regional Sales Manager’s must have expertise in various vertical markets, understand channels to market and the implementation of channel strategy. The Regional Sales Manager should be an excellent communicator and team player, exhibiting a successful track record of disciplined achievement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain communication with new and current channel partners in order to facilitate sales – serving as the primary point of contact for the channel.
  • Ensure that business development activities support the strategic objectives of our client.
  • Pipeline Management.
  • Uncover and create new business opportunities through independent prospecting.
  • Work with channel and technology partner network to develop joint business plans, value propositions, and marketing programs to develop the full potential of the specified accounts.
  • Expertly demonstrate products to prospects and customers and communicate effective sales strategy across the organization.
  • Conduct market analysis and assess competitor activity within assigned region.
  • Research and deliver executive-level strategic sales and marketing presentations.
  • Deliver constructive and quantitative information assisting in the maintenance of product and sales manuals, technical documentation, and pricing schedules.
  • Participate and assist with trade shows, conventions, customer functions and industry-wide affairs as needed.
  • Become an IP video expert, speak at conferences and trade shows.
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales target.

 

Experience

  • Disciplined self-starter with 5+ years of relationship/consultative selling experience in the physical security industry.
  • Must have the ability to explain technical products/topology to a wide range of audiences.
  • Proven track record in developing effective strategies and customized proposals that win new business from sophisticated buyers within the enterprise commercial/industrial, educational, financial, and retail vertical markets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, persuasion, diplomatic and interpersonal skills; experience in researching, writing and delivering marketing proposals and presentations.
  • A demonstrated ability to work in a highly entrepreneurial setting where ‘many hats’ must be worn and decisions need to be made quickly, sometimes with minimal management direction.
  • Experience selling to high-level sophisticated buyers at Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Team player, strong work ethic, ability to work with minimal supervision, results-oriented, flexible, patient and adaptable.
  • Proven track record in providing customer satisfaction.
  • A high degree of tact and diplomacy is required.
  • Proven ability to exceed targets through effective account management.
  • Good understanding of the key principles of IP networking.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Degree in a business and/or technical discipline.

 

Salary: Negotiable and depends on experience; plus a benefits package.
