Sonitrol Pacific has appointed Jim Payne as its President & CEO and Lisa Buckner as its Executive Vice President.
In making the announcement at the company’s 40th anniversary celebration recently, Chairman Beau Bradley stated, “It’s time to pass the baton. Today we celebrate our great past and look forward to the future. I’m confident that this company is in great hands moving forward.” Bradley will remain as Chairman of the Board for the company.
“I am honoured and privileged to lead this organisation,” Payne said. “I will continue our mission of providing the highest level of security to our customers while striving to always exceed their expectations. We have a fantastic team that is committed to our mission”.
Payne started with the company in 1985 as a Sales Consultant. He has served as Sales Manager and General Manager of the company’s Portland branch, as Seattle General Manager, as Vice President of Sales and as Senior Vice President. During this time the company has grown to become the largest independent Sonitrol dealership and the largest privately held electronic security company with ownership in the Pacific Northwest.
Buckner was hired in 1991 as a Central Station Operator. Within months of joining the team she covered the maternity leave of an accounting department employee. Through this experience she discovered a love and talent for accounting. She never returned to the Central Station and worked in all aspects of the accounting department over the next several years. In 1998, Lisa became Sonitrol Pacific’s Accounting Manager and was promoted to Corporate Controller soon after. She currently serves as General Manager of the firm’s Portland office and as Vice President of Finance.
