• Technically oriented and commercially driven – understands RFID readers, visitor management and mobile credential platforms and can translate technical benefits into business value.

• Proactive and independent – comfortable owning the entire sales cycle, from identifying new opportunities to closing the deal. Builds strong relationships, generates personal meetings and drives opportunities without constant oversight.

• Strong relationshipbuilder and closer – excels at consultative, valuebased B2B sales, tailoring discussions to Clevel executives and decision makers. Creates trust and guides customers through the buying process, ensuring deals are closed effectively.

• Strategic mindset – identifies Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and develops partner ecosystems across multiple European markets. Uses a multichannel approach (email, phone, LinkedIn, inperson meetings) to build pipeline and win business.

• Resilient communicator – strong written and verbal English and executive presence. Able to adapt messaging for technical, commercial and operational audiences and clearly articulate value propositions.

• Collaborative – works closely with internal stakeholders (product development, marketing, support) and builds lasting relationships with OEM partners and system integrators.

• Key Responsibilities

• Drive growth through OEM and partner channels in Europe.

• Prospect and qualify new customers and partners in focus markets (UK, France, Spain, Italy, Benelux) and beyond.

• Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach and needs discovery to proposals, negotiations and closing.

• Develop and execute gotomarket strategies and value propositions that highlight how our products solve customer problems.

• Create personal meetings and demos to educate prospects, build rapport and help them reach purchasing decisions.

• Establish longterm agreements with OEMs, integrators and strategic partners, ensuring recurring revenue and market expansion.

• Collaborate with product, engineering and marketing teams to ensure market feedback informs the roadmap and marketing campaigns.

 Organisational Context

• Reports to: Head of Sales

• Peers/Team: Collaborates closely with the International Business Development Director and Technical Account Director.

• Company: Approximately 60 employees across business development, sales, administration/logistics, customer support, and product development. The culture is entrepreneurial with strong internal support from both technical and commercial colleagues.

The successful candidate will proactively create new opportunities across Europe, build strong relationships, and confidently close deals that expand our presence in the access control and security industry. This role is ideal for a self starting professional who thrives on autonomy, innovation and international travel.

• Identify new customers, partners and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)

• Drive strategic, value-based B2B sales and long-term partnerships

• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposals, negotiations and closing

• Build strategic cooperation agreements with international partners and system integrators

• Follow up sales targets and activities

• Execute marketing activities together with the marketing team (events, fairs, campaigns)

Team, reporting and organization

You will be part of our international business development team and work closely with:

• International Business Development Director

• Technical Account Director

You will report directly to the Head of Sales

This gives you strong internal support and close collaboration with both commercial and technical experts.

• Experience in lead qualification (e.g. BANT or similar)

• Strong English, written and spoken

Important to have

• Experience in proposals, negotiations and contracts

• Ability to manage pricing, margins and commercial terms

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Confident user of Microsoft Office tools and modern IT environments

Nice to have

• Additional languages (for example German, Italian or French)

• Experience from the access control or security industry

• General understanding of hardware and software solutions

Location

The position is flexible. As the role includes regular travel within Europe, you should live close to a major international transport hub.
