Job Overview: 

We are a fast-growing AI/facial recognition software company seeking a talented/experienced Pre Sales Engineer to drive our sales initiatives regionally within the US.

Our professional Services department consists talented Technical Account Managers from all around the world, and requires charismatic people with highly technical skills, who are able to read and analyze complex situations on the go, own a customer-success attitude and functioning seamlessly under stressful situations.

The Technical Account Manager is a pivotal role which leads presales and project activities from early engagement with customers, all the way through the sales cycles and the deployment process to ensure a seamless integration of our product.

Requirements

  • Lead presales activities, while working closely with the Sales team and company internal teams for building end-to-end intelligent solutions that fit customers’ requirements.
  • Manage Customer-facing activities, including facilitation of commercial and technical sessions, confirming customer requirements, and presentations of our wide portfolio of intelligent solutions.
  • Interact with onsite sales team as well as client on daily/weekly basis to gather requirements/ provide updates.
  • Lead projects starting from deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project, POC implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate closely with Presales Consultant/Engineer to understand the contracting phase and agreed upon Statement of Work to ensure smooth deployment and handoff.
  • Participate in Solutions Review meeting and confirm agreement with final project budget, scope and schedule
  • Develop detailed Project Schedule (e.g., Gantt chart) and distribute to project team
  • Identify project support needs and engage internal or external resources, as needed
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
  • Conduct kick-off meetings internally with project team, and externally with customer
  • Conduct periodic project status review meetings internally or on the job site as required to stay on schedule
  • Review project milestones, all Change Orders, compare to budget, approve prior to issuance
  • Supervise project activity in accordance with project contract requirements
  • Work with internal operations and finance teams to ensure weekly review and updates of project financials
  • Analyze project or POC progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements

Recurring Responsibilities 

  • Document daily and weekly activities and develop to-do and punch lists.
  • Update project schedule and track project milestones as required.
  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project and POC lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
  • Review project costs relative to budget daily/weekly; immediately address any discrepancies or cost overruns.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on Project/POC status and changes
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs Generate and submit weekly project status report.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
  • Willing to travel over Region and Between the customers – 40% or more of the year
