Technical Account Manager (Europe) – Access Control/RFID – Europe Based

- Deep technical expertise in RFID technologies – Comfortable advising on NXP, MIFARE, Alirio, ECP, PKok and digital certificate solutions for access cards. You have solid practical knowledge of OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) to ensure secure and interoperable integrations.
- Proactive support partner – Works closely with International Business Developer and Business Development leadership to translate customer requirements into technical solutions. Takes initiative to host meetings, demos and technical workshops for OEMs, installers and end customers.
- Trusted relationship builder – Communicates clearly with product managers, sales teams and technical stakeholders. Understands the customer’s technical environment and delivers solutions that drive value and enable deal closure.
- Problem solver and closer – Supports proof of concept tests, troubleshooting and system integrations. Ensures that technical questions never block a deal and that customers feel confident implementing our products.
- Collaborative and self driven – Works independently while actively coordinating with R&D, product development and marketing to feed back customer insights and influence the roadmap. Comfortable working in an international environment with frequent travel across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for to OEM partners, integrators and end customers.
- Host trainings, workshops and technical demos to help customers understand and integrate our RFID readers, visitor management solutions and mobile credential platform.
- Assist the International Business Developer, International Business Development Director and Technical Account Director during sales engagements and partner meetings.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure market requirements are reflected in the product roadmap.
- Maintain in depth knowledge of RFID technology trends and security protocols (e.g. OSDP) to position us as a trusted advisor.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, help design certificate management for secure credentials and advise on best practices for physical and mobile access systems.
- Support the creation of technical documentation and contribute to certification processes for new releases.
The Role
As a Technical Account Manager, you will work at the intersection of product development, sales and customer support. Your mission is to provide deep technical expertise on our product portfolioto ensure our partners can deploy and integrate our solutions effectively. You will support the International Business Developer, International Business Development Director and Technical Account Director, while also serving OEM manufacturers, installers and end customers.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Advise OEM partners on secure RFID integrations using NXP, MIFARE, Alirio, ECP, PKok and certificate management technologies.
- Provide expert knowledge of OSDP to ensure secure, standardised communications between readers and controllers.
- Assist in product demonstrations, workshops and technical sales meetings; help remove technical obstacles that could delay deal closure.
- Create and deliver training sessions and technical documentation for OEMs, integrators and end users.
- Liaise with R&D and product teams to relay customer feedback and influence product improvements.
- Support the International Business Developer and business development team in crafting solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Travel within Europe to provide onsite support, training and project followup as needed.
Team & Reporting
You will work closely with the International Business Developer and the Technical Account Director, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. We have around 60 employees across business development, sales, administration/logistics, customer support and product development. This structure gives you strong internal support and collaboration with both commercial and technical experts.
